Finding Free Tutorials Online
Setting up this blog has been hard work. Every step has been something new that I’ve struggled to learn — WordPress and themes, keyword analysis, SEO and affiliate marketing. Along the way I’ve found many, many wonderful tutorials, forums and help files which have become my life line.
I will assume anyone reading this blog is in a situation similar to mine — just getting started. The absolute best thing you can do for yourself right now is learn how to use Google search.
I know . . . you’ve probably been familiar with Google for years. Me too! Even if you’ve used Google before, there is so much more it will do. It’s worth the time to learn how to fine tune searches in Google.
I’m including a list below of helpful sites which I’ve used, but don’t let that stop you from learning how to use Google yourself to search. There is more help available online than I could ever list here. The Internet is such an amazing place!
- WordPress.org – This link is to the WordPress site itself. Check out both the documentation for the software as well as the forums.
- HTML and CSS Tutorials – Great selection. Easy to understand format.
- WPApprentice.com WordPress Training Videos – They offer over 30 different videos, each on subjects related to using WordPress.
