Why do I have a separate links page? Because I’m on a mission this year to learn all I possibly can about website building, blogging, and affiliate marketing. Part of that learning has been reading up on SEO – that’s Search Engine Optimization – and it means designing your website with search engines in mind and creating the pages with the intent of making Google (or Yahoo, Bing, etc.) happy 
so that s/he ranks your pages well.
SEO experts across the Internet seem to believe that a long string of links down the side of the home page is a “page rank drain”. That’s not a good thing. Since I am not an SEO expert and have no opinion of my own on this subject, I’ve decided to heed their words of wisdom. My solution is to place my favorite links here, all in one place. And that’s an easy enough fix, don’t you think?
