Finally! Advice about SEO and website optimization that I can trust!
I found a really good book at the library today and wanted to mention it to anyone who might be looking for help with optimizing their website. The title of the book is
Website Optimization by Andrew B. King.
The book is published by O’Reilly books and this in itself gave credibility to the book in my eyes before I even cracked open the cover.
O’Reilly Media is the publishers of many popular technology and programming related books and they’ve been in the business for years. Way, way back in the days when I worked in the computer/tech support field they were also writing books and their titles were always some of my favorite.
I’ve only just begun this book, so I’m not ready to give a complete review yet. Just wanted to give anyone who might be interested a heads up.
Oh . . . and one more thing I discovered that makes me even happier . . . O’Reilly’s has a free books for bloggers program. How cool is that? I’m already signed up.
You know, as frugal as I am and as much as I love books from the library . . . sometimes when it’s a really good book I want to own it. I want to be able to add my own handwritten notes by the dozen in every margin and keep sticky note reminders hanging from every other page and keep it beside my desk for quick reference. I believe this book is already becoming one of “those books” for me.
